The Hawk Group was formed in 1974 to expand Ezio Valentini's activities in the U.S. The company and its Divisions have acquired, developed and marketed several master-planned communities in the U.S.  The company also operated large high technology call centers marketing real estate, mortgages, various financial services and other products and services.  Presently, Hawk has two Divisions:  

• The American Trade System (ATS) Co-operative, a financial services operation that functions similarly to a bank, although not subject to banking regulations because it uses an asset-backed, electronic, private form of money, the ATS Dollar, to conduct business. The ATS Dollar is considered a complementary currency.

• The International Real Estate Equity Xchange (IREEX) is a real estate company contracted to provide services related to the ATS Co-operative. IREEX acts as a conduit to the real estate industry entering into agreements with principals and practitioners and providing access to credit in the ATS Co-operative.  

The two companies are a business and real estate co-operative designed to operate in a manner similar to the WIRBanc Co-operative, a Swiss trade and banking organization that has provided services to the real estate industry for 18 years in that country.

The ATS Co-operative brings a new and innovative credit source that permits the “monetization” of soft assets, which can result in increases in transaction volume for brokers and agents, particularly for those involved in property exchanges.

The Hawk Group has spent eight years learning how to operate this type of bank system as well as having researched worldwide other trade systems that issue and manage private currencies.
